Lagos  : 28 th     September 2011;  Arik  Air  has  partnered   with  Africa  International Film  Festival’s Official(AFRIFF)  as  its  official  Airline Partner.

Speaking  recently  in Lagos  at  the signing of the Mo U  ceremony  between  the  2  parties, the Project Director/ C.E.O  of AFRIFF  , Chioma   Ude   commended  ARIK  Air  noting   that Arik Air  is  a  brand  synonymous  with  efficiency, customer-commitment,   adherence  to aviation  policies  and  standards.

She  stated  that  the synergy between  both organizations  is   expected  to   bring seamlessness  to travel  and  comfort  of  several  key  guests  and  stars,  participants  coming  into  Nigeria  to  grace  the African International Film Festival  in  November this year.  .

The partnership according  to  Ude , is  that,  Arik Air  will  be  providing  for  AFRIFF, tickets  for  all guests  to travel to  the  festival  at  half  the  price.

Also,  free  business class tickets  would  be  given  out  as  prices in a  draw  to   some   winners  at  the  upcoming  event. 

While  thanking the  MD  of  ARIK  Air ,  Mr  Chris  Ndulue , “ for  believing in  our  nobles  and dreams  and  helping  to  make  this  synergy  a  reality”  ,  she  noted  that   ARIK  Air   is  very  visionary  and  committed  to  the  ideals  of creative   empowerment, “thus  endorsing  our festival  with  their  services  was  not  any way a  surprise”.

Also  speaking at the  signing of  the MoU event, the  Vice President  Planning and Marketing of ARIK Air, Mr Bert Van der Stege   pointed out  that  the  air line  was   the  apex  air line  operating  both  domestic,  regional  and international  flight  network  with  excellent  and   optimal  customer  services.  He   said the airline was avant-garde in providing quality aviation services.

The sponsorships and events Manager of  ARIK Air, Adeyinka  Oloyede  also  noted  that  ARIK Air  has  always been  committed  over  the  years  in  supporting  organizations  that  have  worthy  ideals. She said AFRIFF  was  an indigenous  world  class  Film  festival  that it  is  a  unique  platform  for  the  world  to zoom  in  on  the  abundant  talents  and  beauty  of  both Nigerian  and a  African  films.

Indeed,  Ude  the project director  of  AFRIFF  had  earlier on  emphasized  that AFRIFF  represents  a  distinctive  opportunity  that  brands  both  Nigeria  and  entire Africa to  the    world  showcasing  her  distinctive  arts  and  culture.

The AFRIFF  festival,  this  being  the  second  edition  will  attract global attention  and  will be  covered  by  both  local  and  international  media . It  will  be  an  event  to  be  remembered  in  many  decades  to come, Ude pointed  out.
